1. Computer backup options: Purchase an external hard drive. Always save things in Dropbox or Google Drive. Back them up on a DVD. Another option is online storage such as carbonite. You Can download Google Drive and store everything in that folder and it backs it up to your google account. Use the document camera or the iPad with the reflector app in your classroom. Both of these requires you to install something from Self Service. Use Skype or Twitter to connect your class with an author, park ranger or any other expert. _________________________ 2.On your Mac when you open the Finder you will see AirDrop on your computer. When you and another computer have this open you can transfer files wirelessly. _________________________ 3. On this Youtube channel there are directions in how to set up your class and quizes in ThinkCentral. This can be confusing at times so talk with your integrationist if you need to. _________________________ 4. Almost a free square simply talk with the integrationist about any question on this game or anything else technology related. _________________________ 5. Use linoit in your classroom. It is just an online corkboard that you can post your thoughts. One simple way to use it is to do a KWL chart. Each part should be a different color post it note. |

1. There are apps on the iPad that you can type or record your voice to create a story. If you'd like to have the same apps that are on your grade level let your integrationist know your apple ID and he can loan you a license to each app. (Apple ID only, not the password) _________________________ 2. Click on the Silver rocketship in your dock and play with a new app. Ideas include iPhoto, Pages, Keynote, Numbers or Garage Band. It is not very likely that we will have Microsoft Office next year so getting use to Pages and Keynote would be a great idea. _________________________ 3. Look through this Draggo page and find something that you could use in your classroom. Tabs to look at include Webtools and Professional. _________________________ 4.
